The Fords rise seven spots in the national rankings after a runner-up finish at the Centennial Conference Championship.

The Fords will battle the other three top teams in the region for the conference title Saturday at 11 a.m. in Owings Mill, Md.

Katie Sullivan (first team) and Nora Weathers (second team) earned All-Centennial Conference accolades for their respective finishes.

The Fords placed each of their top five among the first eight finishers to record their third team victory of the 2015 season.

The Fords also jumped up to No. 3 in the Mideast Regional after a strong showing over the weekend.

The No. 29 Fords recorded a pair of wins against two nationally ranked teams, including No. 20 Swarthmore.

The Haverford College women s cross country team was voted as the No. 29 team in the US Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association national poll with 63 voting points.

The Fords are up to No. 3 in the Mideast Region and ranked No. 26 nationally in the latest USTFCCCA Poll.

The Fords made the largest jump of any team in the country and find themselves ranked No. 25 in the third poll of the regular season.

The No. 25 Fords took home the team title during the White Race at Lehigh University's Paul Short Invitational on Friday.
