A group of seven Villanova runners opened the 2014 season by competing in the Big Five Invitational on Friday evening. The meet at the Belmont Plateau featured each of the Philadelphia Big Five teams in a 6,000 meter men's race. Senior Chris O'Sullivan (Havertown, Pa.) was the top finisher for the Wildcats and came in 21st overall with a time of 19:20.4. Villanova finished with a team score of 107 points from its first five finishers.
