The Misericordia University men's soccer team will make its seventh consecutive Freedom Conference championships appearance when the Cougars host King's in the semifinals, Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Mangelsdorf Field.Misericordia (12-5-2) is seeded second after finishing 6-1 during the Freedom regular season while King's (13-5-1) is seeded third after finishing 5-2 in league play. Misericordia won the regular season meeting between the two teams, 2-1, a month ago.King's, the defending Freedom champion, won last year's semifinal meeting at Misericordia in a penalty kick shootout.Top-seeded Eastern will host FDU-Florham in the other semifinal with the winners meeting in the Freedom championship at the site of the highest remaining seed, Saturday.Misericordia is led by Nick vonEgypt (5g, 2a) while Rob Wiacek is on a four-game scoring streak.
