Two days of competition began on Friday at the Penn State National and Villanova competed in six events as it got underway at the meet. Senior distance runner Robert Hurlbut (Rochester, N.Y.) was the runner-up in the invitational section of the 5000 meters to highlight the day’s results at Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track. Other events for the Wildcats on Friday included the 60 meters, the distance medley relay, the pole vault, the long jump and the first four events of the heptathlon.
