Senior Stephanie Schappert (Delray Beach, Fla.) led the way for Villanova in a successful start to the season and captured the individual title at the Main Line Invitational on Thursday evening. Schappert covered the three-mile Alumni Course at Haverford College in 16:51.10 and recorded a margin of victory of more than 11 seconds. The top five finishers for the Wildcats were all in the top 10 overall in the team's first meet of the year.
