Four Quakers posted wins in the season-opening Lehigh Invitational. Jake Brenza won the shot put with the fourth-best toss in program history. Maalik Reynolds, Tom Timmins and Drew Magaha also won.

Penn's men's and women's track and field teams open their 2012-13 campaign on Friday at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.

A mixture of young and old was key for the Quakers in Friday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. Three freshmen and two seniors scored for Penn, who moved up three spots overall from its finish in 2011.
