Duquesne's men's cross country team completed the 2012 season by placing 12th at Saturday's IC4A Championship.

Senior Jim Spisak completed his illustrious collegiate cross country career by placing 59th of 245 runners with a time of 30:25 at the 2012 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships held Saturday in Louisville, Kent.

The Duquesne men's cross country team finished ninth of 25 schools at Friday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State. Jim Spisak paced the Red and Blue by finishing 10th of 170 runners with a time of 30:45.

Duquesne's men's cross country team finished fifth of 16 teams at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship in Philadelphia. Senior Jim Spisak finished 22nd of 136 runners with a time of 26:28.0.

With the 2012-13 academic year underway, its time to take one last look at the athletics accomplishments in 2012.

Duquesne University senior cross country runner Jim Spisak has been named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14. It is the fourth time this season he has received the award.
