La Plume, PA (5-14-12) - The Keystone track and field team had two student-athletes compete at the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet in order to see if they could better their national rankings. Brian Slater (Bronx, NY/Stevenson) ended up running a time of 22.46 seconds for 200 meters which was good enough to take ninth place on the day. In the Javelin Mark Cruver (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing ) had a big day. Cruver brought home a new personal best and school record bombing the Javelin over 190 feet for the first time in his life.
